Fynch, the Hive Ghost defector, is the Reputation Vendor for the Throne World. He's located near the Landing Zone at the Quagmire floating near a rock.
Fynch offers four daily bounties for 250 Glimmer each and an unlimited number of repeatable bounties which can be purchased for 3,000 Glimmer each, although you can only hold five repeatable bounties at a time. Standard daily bounties offer 50 Throne World Rank and some XP, while repeatable bounties will net you 20 Throne World Rank and some XP.
Additionally, there's a Reputation track that offers rewards based on your Throne World Reputation level. You can earn Throne World Reputation by completing bounties, patrols, public events, Lost Sectors, Wellspring runs, replayable Campaign missions, Altars of Reflections, discovering secrets, and opening chests in the Throne World.
You can also gain 20 Throne World Rank from collecting Fundamental Osmium scattered randomly throughout the area.
Aside from upgrade materials and Veritas Gear, you'll also be able to unlock the weekly replayable Campaign mission with additional difficulties at Rank 13. At Rank 18, you'll unlock additional difficulties for The Wellspring, both of which provide a great way to farm Ascendant Alloys for crafting weapons.
You can also unlock Deepsight Tier 2 and Deepsight Tier 3 at Rank 11 and Rank 15, respectively. This will allow you to uncover additional secrets within the Throne World destination.
There are three Public Events that can spawn throughout the Throne World. Each one provides a chest with random loot upon completion, Glimmer, and Throne World Reputation. You can also complete a secret objective for each to unlock a Heroic version of the Public Event for more potential rewards.

Secure the Resonant Splinter is the newest Public Event added to Destiny 2 and can appear in the Flourescent Canal and Miasma areas of the Throne World. In this Public Event, you'll be guiding the Resonant Splinter to the end destination. The Resonant Splinter is an armed vehicle that moves autonomously as long as someone is standing near it, indicated by a faint orange glowing circle around its base.
To start, stand near the Resonant Splinter and it will begin moving with its percentage to the goal indicated in the top left corner below the Public Event info. Enemies will spawn in and you'll need to take care of them quickly while remaining near the vehicle.
Eventually, the Resonant Splinter will stop moving and a large orange dome will appear with enemies inside. Just like other barriers, you can't shoot through this. Instead, you'll need to head inside and deal with the enemies up close.

While dispatching the enemies, someone needs to destroy the three Pyramid Spikes inside the dome, indicated by the teal Public Event icons. These Splinters only need to be shot a few times with any weapon to explode.
Once all three have been shot, return to the Resonant Splinter and it will continue moving forward towards the destination automatically. You'll eventually be stopped again and need to repeat the steps above.
As you approach the destination, a large number of enemies will spawn in and you'll need to hold them off while remaining close to the Resonant Splinter. When it reaches the destination circle, it will detonate and kill all the enemies and complete the Public Event.
Throughout the duration of this Public Event, you'll find a number of enemies called Resonant Keepers. Kill them and they will drop Resonant Charges. These small orange orbs can be picked up and brought back to the Resonant Splinter. But, make sure to grab them quickly as they disappear after a short while.

When you reach the Resonant Splinter, throw the Resonant Charge at it and it will emit a slight orange glow. You'll need a total of about six Resonant Charges to fully charge it up, at which point the Heroic version of this Public Event will begin.
The only difference you'll find between the standard and Heroic version of this Public Event is a few extra Ultra enemies to deal with. Guide the Resonant Splinter to the end to complete it and claim your rewards.
